Fourth international AAEE Student Chapter PhD Day

March 26th, 2015

The fourth PhD Day took place at the Vienna University of Technology at March 26th. The aim of the event is to give PhD-students the opportunity to present their current scientific work - 7 Austrian PhD Students participated and presented. The presentation was followed by a comprehensive feedback of senior and junior researchers. Additionally Dr. Erwin Mair, representing one of the event sponsors, give some practice-orientated insights.

The feedback of all participants was throughout positive and so we are looking forward to the PhD Day 2016!

Third international AAEE/YEEES PhD Day

Spring 2014

The Student Chapter of the Austrian Association for Energy Economics organized the third international PhD-Day at the Vienna University of Technology on Friday 11 April 2014 in Linz - Eberstalzell

The aim of the event is to give PhD-students the opportunity to present their work in detail including a comprehensive feedback of senior researchers and professors in the field of energy economics. For each paper 40 minutes of discussion was foreseen; approximately the half for the author, 15 minutes for a detailed feedback by two discussants (a junior and a senior researcher) and the rest for general discussion.

The Student Chapter of the Austrian Association for Energy Economics organized the second international PhD-Day at the Vienna University of Technology on Thursday 21 and Friday 22 March 2013. It was organised in combination with the spring 2013 edition of the Young Energy Engineers & Economists Seminar (YEEES).

The aim of the event is to give PhD-students the opportunity to present their work in detail including a comprehensive feedback of senior researchers and professors in the field of energy economics.
