Project description
The role of data in energy research is undeniable, but the lack of cohesion and centralization of energy data reduces the efficiency of both research and energy management. The EnerMaps project will improve data access by establishing freely accessible and interconnected tools, providing a significant number of energy datasets, and performing quality assessment on a selection of critical data. EnerMaps will accomplish this by developing a platform that focuses on these three areas: (i) data management tools, (ii) scientific communication, and (iii) capacity building.
