The main goal of the OpenData project is the development and implementation of an Open Data Platform (ODP) for the energy sector. The ODP shall provide easy access and overview of relevant data and interdependencies of a current and future integrated energy system. Disaggregated household data will be processed to develop consumption patterns, derive forecast models and provide recommendations for different stakeholders along the energy supply chain. The ODP aims to provide all end users insight into their energy consumption or efficiency data, allowing a comparison with similar households, and tailor-made recommendations for energy relevant measures. The intended effect is a decentralized demand-side management by incentivizing the consumer to actively participate in the energy system and provide flexibility.
