Green Energy Lab Open Data Platform

  • Nov 2018Apr 2022

Project description

The main objective of the OpenData project is the development and implementation of an open data platform (ODP) for the energy sector. The ODP will provide easy access and overview of relevant data and interdependencies of a current and future integrated energy system. Disaggregated household data will be processed to develop consumption patterns, derive forecasting models, and provide recommendations to various actors along the energy supply chain. The ODP aims to provide all end-users with insight into their energy consumption or efficiency data, allowing comparison with similar households and tailored recommendations for energy-related actions. The intended effect is decentralized demand management by creating incentives for consumers to actively participate in the energy system and offer flexibility.
