Jasper Geipel is a research associate and PhD candidate at the Energy Economics Group (TU Wien). He holds a master’s degree in econophysics with a focus on quantitative methods from the University of Ulm and a Diplôme d’ingénieur from Grenoble INP. His research focusses on the assessment of renewable energy support schemes on the European, regional and local level as well as the modelling of their policy interactions and dynamics.
