Provision of System Flexibilities of e-Vehicles for different use of e-Mobility for various end user applications

Project description

The lighthouse project Car2Flex shows in three different use cases (sharing, fleet, individual) to what extent the increasing share of e-mobility can be integrated into a holistic systemic approach for different mobility needs of individuals and companies. Various use cases will develop bidirectional DC charging points (e.g., for direct use of PV generation), control algorithms for system-friendly charging strategies (e.g., grid, energy generation, self-consumption, energy trading), and integration between aggregator and booking platforms. These technological developments are accompanied from the beginning by a participatory process with users and relevant stakeholders (e.g., developers, charging station operators). A large-scale real-world implementation of controllable charging concepts and measurements of the reference usage of electric vehicles completes the overall goal of enabling new services, especially for the defined target group of property developers, private individuals / e-vehicle users, car sharing and fleet operators.
