Axel Bruck is an external research associate and PhD candidate at the Energy Economics Group (EEG) and is located at the Renewable Energy Department of the Technological Institute of the Canary Islands on Gran Canaria (Spain). He is one of 15 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) doctoral fellows of the "Smart-BEEJS" project (Human-centric Energy Districts: Smart value generation by Building Efficiency and Energy justice for Sustainable living). In his research, Axel focuses on open source, multi-energy system optimisation modelling of Positive Energy Districts.
