Luca is a PhD candidate at the Energy Economics Group (EEG) since November 2019. He is one of 15 Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) doctoral fellows of the "Smart-BEEJS" project (Human-centric Energy Districts: Smart value generation by Building Efficiency and Energy justice for Sustainable living). In his research he focuses on developing and fostering the creation of 100 Positive Energy Districts (PEDs). Luca's work analysis specifically the building stock, its thermal efficiency and district heating. The aim is to increase energy efficiency in buildings while being technically and economically viable to allow low temperature heating.
