Shopping center buildings (GLA)
The Shopping centre* building Gross Leasable Area (GLA) is 112.1 Million m² in EU-28 + Norway in 2013. That makes up app. 6.7% of the total Wholesale and Retail building floor area in EU-28 plus Norway in 2013.
*According the International Council for Shopping centres (ICSC), a shopping centre is "a scheme that is planned, built and managed as a single entity, comprising units and communal areas, with a minimum gross leasable area (GLA) of 5,000 square meters".
